On screen: Two educators role play together. One plays the role of the educator, the other plays the role of the child. Together, they put together a small puzzle. The first educator starts by pointing out and explaining how the shapes should match.
Educator 1: It kind of fits here, but it needs to be inside the puzzle.
On screen: The first educator points to the contours of the puzzle’s outer edge. The second educator picks up the misplaced piece and tries another spot.
Educator 1: Do you think that's inside the puzzle?
On screen: The second educator tries placing another piece in the same spot as before, but they place it upside down.
Educator 1: Yeah, you're turning it. Nice turn! Keep turning. Maybe keep rotating and see how it fits.
On screen: The second educator flips the piece over but places it incorrectly again.
Educator 2: Oh, it's good, it’s good!
On screen: The first educator points out the incorrect placement by noting the space left over.
Educator 1: It’s good? Look, there's some space here.
Educator 2: Ohh…
Educator 1: Maybe you can push it?
Educator 2: Push it? Same like this one.
On screen: The second educator references another similar piece’s placement. She moves it into place, and the two look at each other joyfully.
Educator 1: Same as that one. There you go!
Educator 2: Whoo!
