As a final reflection, draft a letter to math about your math-related feelings and thoughts. The letter will include childhood math memories, current experiences with math, and ideas on how to develop a positive math mindset. Consider using a few of the prompts below or create your own.

As you explore the other Count Play Explore suites of resources, consider the ways your math mindset continues to shift. You may encounter content that is unfamiliar to you or makes you feel and think differently about math. Pause to acknowledge and reflect on those feelings and thoughts.
Adults in your setting may be less excited about math or possibly experience math anxiety. To support others to develop positive math mindsets, check out the Math Mindsets Matter suite of resources.
